Who we are

Amos Ilan, Advocate and Notary, was admitted as an advocate in 2003 and has since practised mainly in real estate law, construction defect claims and civil and commercial litigation. The office is located at 17 Tzahal Street, Ness Ziona, and serves clients throughout central Israel and Gush Dan.

Alongside its legal practice, the office operates a notarial services division, providing the full range of notarial services provided for by law, readily available and with a quick response, including on Fridays and at weekends by prior arrangement.

In the media

Amos Ilan, Advocate, was interviewed for the article "Suffering from construction defects in your apartment? Here is how to sue and get compensated" (ynet Economy, 5.2.2021). In it he explained the contractor's liability for defects, the need to document them, and the role of an engineering expert opinion in the claim.

Globes (Real Estate and Infrastructure section, 16.12.2021) published the opinion piece by Amos Ilan, Advocate, "The line between planning and property: releasing the landlocked plot". The article deals with a plot that has no registered access, and distinguishes between rights under planning law and property rights, such as a right of way.

Main areas of practice

  • Real estate transactions: legal support in the sale and purchase of apartments, houses, plots of land and commercial properties, including preliminary due diligence and precise drafting of agreements.
  • Construction defect claims: representing apartment buyers and property owners against contractors, to have the defects actually repaired or to obtain fair compensation.
  • Representation before the Superintendent of Land Registration: disputes between apartment owners in condominiums, concerning common property and building management, including TAMA 38 cases, evacuation and reconstruction (pinui binui) and the issue of the refusing tenant.
  • Civil real estate disputes: neighbour disputes, dissolution of co-ownership and other court proceedings.
  • Buying from a developer: reviewing sale contracts, securing the buyers' payments and checking that the specification matches the developer's undertakings.

Our professional approach

Focus rather than breadth

Concentrating on real estate law, construction defects and civil litigation makes it possible to recognise the risks that recur in transactions and proceedings, and to deal with them at a stage when they can still be prevented.

Command of the engineering and appraisal material too

In construction defect cases and appraisal issues, the outcome often turns on an expert opinion. In-depth familiarity with the engineering and appraisal material makes it possible to work effectively with the professional retained by the office and to deal with the opposing party's opinion.

Technology in the service of legal work

The office makes use of the best available technology, including artificial intelligence tools, in legal research, the analysis of arguments, the checking of drafting and proofreading. This makes it possible to cover more material, to identify contradictions and gaps that are easy to miss, and to work faster without sacrificing depth.

These tools do not replace legal judgement and do not produce the work product. Every document that leaves the office is reviewed, edited and signed by the advocate, under his full responsibility.

Personal service and transparency

Each case is handled by the advocate himself and is not passed between different people. The client receives regular updates on the status of the case, and a clear explanation of the legal and financial implications of every decision before it is made.
