Use of the site is subject to the terms below. Browsing the site, using the calculators and sending an enquiry through it constitute acceptance of these terms. The terms apply equally to all users, regardless of gender. Last updated: 10 October 2026.
Status of the information on the site
The content on the site, including the articles, guides, tables and videos, is intended to provide general information and to help you find your way. It does not constitute legal advice or a legal opinion, nor is it a substitute for them. Each case is assessed on its own merits on the basis of all its circumstances, and the content of the site should not be relied on in a specific case without obtaining individual advice.
Amounts, fees, deadlines and legal provisions change from time to time. Although we make every effort to keep the site up to date, there may be a gap between what is published on it and the law or amounts in force at the time you read it. Every figure should be verified against the official source.
No advocate-client relationship
Browsing the site, sending a form or an email enquiry does not create an advocate-client relationship between you and the office. Such a relationship is created only after a meeting or conversation, a conflict of interest check and the signing of a written fee agreement.
Until then the office has no duty to act on your behalf, including with regard to deadlines and limitation periods. If your matter is urgent, do not rely on an online enquiry alone: call us.
Use of the calculators: disclaimer
The site offers calculators and tools, including the linkage and interest calculator, the inspection and warranty periods calculator, the civil procedure deadlines calculator and the court fee calculator (the "calculators"). The calculators are intended to assist with a preliminary estimate only. The result of a calculation is an approximate estimate. It is not legal advice, tax advice, a legal opinion, an assessment or a binding quotation, and it is not a substitute for any of them. The result does not bind the office, and it does not bind any tax authority, court, land registry or other authority.
The result is based only on the data entered and on simplified assumptions. The calculators do not take into account all the provisions of the law, exemptions, reliefs, exceptions and personal circumstances of every transaction, proceeding or service. Missing, wrong or inaccurate data will lead to a wrong result.
Fees, indices, interest rates, amounts and deadlines change from time to time. Some of the data is retrieved automatically from external sources, such as the Central Bureau of Statistics and government websites, and the office is not responsible for its availability, accuracy or currency. At the time of use the calculator may not reflect the law or the amounts in force, even if no notice to that effect is displayed.
The deadlines calculator does not replace a review of the law, of the judicial decisions in the case and of the applicable recess and holiday calendar, and it does not take into account extensions, stays or special decisions. Responsibility for taking action and filing on time rests solely with the user. The binding fee amount is the amount set by the court registry or the Net HaMishpat system.
No decision should be made on the basis of a calculator result alone, including signing an agreement, paying a tax, fee or charge, filing a report, application or proceeding, or waiving a right. Before any such decision, obtain individual advice and verify the data against the official source.
Use of the calculators and their results is at the user's sole responsibility. Subject to any law, the office, the advocate and anyone acting on their behalf shall bear no liability whatsoever, direct or indirect, for any damage, loss, expense, payment of tax, fee, fine, interest, linkage differentials or missed deadline arising from use of the calculators, from reliance on their results, or from any error, omission, malfunction or unavailability in them.
Using a calculator, including saving its results or sending them to the office, does not create an advocate-client relationship. The privacy policy applies to the data entered in the calculators.
Intellectual property
All rights in the content of the site, including the texts, calculators, design, structure, graphics, videos and logo, are reserved to the office of Amos Ilan, Advocate and Notary, unless stated otherwise. The content may not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.
Short passages from the site may be quoted for study, research or reporting, to a reasonable extent, with attribution and a link to the page from which the quotation was taken.
Links to external websites
The site contains links to third-party websites, including government authorities and legislation databases. The links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over their content, availability or privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Limitation of liability
The site and its content, including the calculators, are provided as is. We do not undertake that the site will be continuously available, free of faults, or that the content will be accurate and up to date at all times. Subject to any law, the office shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from reliance on content on the site or from its use.
Advertising and marketing
The site is operated in accordance with the Israel Bar Association rules on advertising. Nothing on the site constitutes a promise of a result, a claim of superiority or an undertaking as to the chances of success in any proceeding.
Privacy and accessibility
The collection and use of information on the site are governed by the privacy policy. Details of the accessibility level and how to contact us about accessibility appear in the accessibility statement.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the time of use.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and the use of the site are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Central District shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising from them.
